At the rhythm of the Aramada

For 34 years, the city of Rouen in Normandy has been celebrating freedom with one of the world's biggest maritime events. An exceptional festival bringing together sailing ships and warships from all over the world, it has become an unmissable event for boat lovers.

The Armada to celebrate liberty

Created in 1989 under the name "Voiles de la Liberté*", this week-long event transforms Rouen's quayside into a real maritime stage, where hundreds of majestic ships gather to put on an unforgettable show.

Visitors have the chance to get on board some of the ships and discover what life is like on board, as well as meeting the passionate crews who come from all over the world. The Rouen Armada offers a unique opportunity to admire these exceptional ships up close and learn more about their history and operation.

Rouen, to the rhythm of sailboats

Every 4 years, the city of Normandy lives to the rhythm of the boats. As well as the sailing ships, the Rouen Armada offers a rich programme of entertainment and events. Concerts, exhibitions, sailor demonstrations, spectacular fireworks displays and many other activities are planned throughout the event. The streets of Rouen will also come alive with food stalls and craft products, offering visitors a complete and immersive experience.

PAUL MARIUS at the Armada

The Armada also celebrates its region by highlighting Rouen's heritage and its key players. For this very special occasion, PAUL MARIUS is on hand to welcome you with a 200m² temporary boutique, offering you the chance to discover exclusive collections.

A Beach collection signed by PAUL MARIUS

L'Armada is also an opportunity to discover new collections. This year, it was the Beach capsule collection that took pride of place. Our customers also had the pleasure of previewing our new Le Mans Classique collection.
